Your Thyroid Isn’t Broken.
It’s Responding to Signals
Most Doctors Never Measure.

THE PROBLEM

You Were Told It Was Your Thyroid.
But Most People Were Never Taught the Signaling Behind It.

Many people dealing with thyroid symptoms go through the same pattern: TSH gets checked, labs are called “normal” or medication is prescribed, the dose is adjusted, and yet they still feel tired, puffy, cold, foggy, inflamed, flat, and unlike themselves. What often gets missed is a more important question: what signals is the thyroid responding to? Because the thyroid does not operate in isolation. It responds to the environment, to circadian timing, to leptin, insulin, inflammatory input, and to whether mitochondria can actually execute the hormonal signal.

This class connects those dots.

About Dr. Courtney Hunt

Dr. Courtney Hunt — OB/GYN and founder of Genetic Protocol — has spent over two decades decoding the connection between hormones, metabolism, and mitochondrial health. Through her work with thousands of women, she has studied the biological patterns that precede dysfunction — from insulin signaling and estrogen context to light exposure, nutrient timing, metabolic stress, and circadian disruption. Her approach bridges clinical medicine with modern metabolic science. Not ideology. Not trends. Biology.

Why I Created This Webinar

Over the years, I’ve seen how many people are told the same story: that their thyroid is failing, that medication is the only answer, and that this is simply something they will have to manage forever. Sometimes medication is absolutely necessary. But many people are placed into that story before anyone has fully evaluated the upstream signals influencing thyroid function in the first place. This class was created to bring biological clarity to that conversation — not fear, not false promises, not oversimplification. Biology. Because in many cases, the thyroid is not randomly malfunctioning. It is adapting to the information it is receiving.

This Webinar Is For People Who:

  • You feel exhausted, foggy, cold, inflamed, or metabolically stuck

  • You’ve been told your thyroid labs are “normal” but you still do not feel well

  • You’ve been diagnosed with hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s

  • You are on thyroid medication but still struggle with symptoms

  • You want to understand the role of leptin, inflammation, mitochondria, and light biology in thyroid function

  • You want a deeper framework than “check TSH and repeat”

  • You want to understand thyroid signaling through biology, not just prescriptions

Dr. Courtney Hunt, MD (OB/GYN)

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THE 60-MINUTE MASTERCLASS

-Why the thyroid is often not the root issue
-How the thyroid functions as one output in a larger signaling chain.

-How light and circadian timing affect the thyroid axis
-Why the brain uses light information to coordinate hormonal timing.

-The role of leptin in thyroid signaling
-How both low leptin and leptin resistance can suppress thyroid function through different mechanisms.

-Why “normal labs” do not always mean normal thyroid function
-What gets missed when only TSH is measured.

-How inflammation interferes with thyroid function at every level
-Including hormone conversion, receptor signaling, hypothalamic regulation, and mitochondrial execution.

-Why mitochondria matter so much
-Because thyroid hormone is a signal — and mitochondria determine whether that signal becomes energy.

-How Hashimoto’s and autoimmune thyroid patterns may develop
-And how oxidative stress and inflammation shape the terrain.

-How thyroid signaling influences cholesterol, pregnenolone, and sex hormones
-And why so many hormonal symptoms may be connected to the same upstream terrain.

You’re Not Alone.

Thousands of women who once felt dismissed, exhausted, and confused have stepped into these conversations and finally found clarity. Not from fear. Not from panic. But from understanding how their biology actually works. Here’s what women have shared after participating in previous groups:

"I didn't realize how sick and swollen I looked. My skin tone looked terrible and I felt terrible everyday. I had chronic nightly migraines, histamine intolerance, so swollen with RA pain and allergies!"

"I am so amazed at the side by side view of myself and how much the light has played such a crucial part in my advancement of healing."

"I cry and praise gratitude for you and for finally being brave enough to hold your hand. Because you all along were the answer. Thank you SO much. I cannot put into words how much your knowledge means to me and I know I am only in the beginning of your courses, but from years of learning on my own and now your teachings, you are putting it together for me. My hope is to get through all of your courses and maybe even one on one at some point."

"Your straight to the point, no bullshit, nothing extra is what every DR who is supposed to heal should be like. But you are one in many millions, a true hero ❤️"

Your thyroid is not randomly failing.
It is responding. Light influences timing, leptin tells the brain whether enough fuel is available, inflammation distorts signaling, and mitochondria determine whether hormone becomes energy. When you understand the signal, you understand the symptom differently — and that changes everything.
